Conwy Castle
Conwy Castle
This is a 13th century castle. It took only 6 years to build it and 1500 people worked on its construction.

Towers

Below you can see the inner ward of the castle. It was separated from the outer ward by a 4.6m thick wall with arrow slits,
created for quantum mechanic experiments - not really. The inner ward contained heated Royal Apartments.
In the unlikely event of an attack, the walls separating inner and outer ward created a bottleneck for the attackers.

We are Seven
We are Seven
This church is the oldest building in town (from the 14th century).
'We are Seven' is an 18th century poem by the English poet William Wordsworth; according to some he was inspired by this grave.
"Seven boys and girls are we;
"Two of us in the church-yard lie,
"Beneath the church-yard tree."
